Weekend at the end of Jan with a toddler ?

Hoping to be able to book something for DP's birthday at the end of Jan, ideally within a couple of hours drive of Coventry/Birmingham not too pricey (around £300) any ideas ? I suppose we need to be able to find indoor stuff to do as the weather could be awful but otherwise somewhere pretty with easy walks would be ideal.

Bluestone in tenby is amazing g and has loaf's to do indoors. Spending the weekend driving around in a golf buggy is an added bonus.

That's a shame, we've always found its better in the winter for some reason, especially camp smokey.

Maybe next year, DP is currently having treatment for cancer so will probably not feel like the long drive, I had actually looked at it before he was diagnosed as it was so good in June.

Is Chester too far? It's a lovely place and there is indoor stuff if you need it (Cathedral, museums, etc.) If the weather is OKish then the zoo is fab, though it doesn't have to be perfect weather as there is plenty of shelter to be found.
