My friend's self-catering cottage in Scotland has just fallen through and she is looking for something last minute for her family (dh, ds, dd)for the week beginning Saturday 22nd July. Ideally, somewhere near the sea in Wales. Can anyone help? Maybe some last minute cancellations?

Has she done the availability search on country holidays website ?

Not the cheapest but good range & standard & will find quickly if there's anything she wants

We went to a lovely place in Pembrokeshire called the old oak barn. You can pick it up through google by typing that in. Not sure if it's let but we loved it.

DS is 15 months and it was perfect because it is all on one level and really new and clean (renovated last year). Owners live next door but are charming and they have chickens which DS loved. They have a lot of land as well.

Not really near the sea but you can drive there in about 15 - 20 mins but lots of things to do in the area.

Really would recommend but not sure if it's free or what they are looking for.

have just been to the site and there is a cancellation for the week 15th July - guess that is too early. Also it's in camarthenshire not pembrokeshire but very near tenby etc which others here have mentioned.

We booked through lastminute.com recently. Stuff feeds to them from a lot of the major companies.
Also latelets (can't remember if its .co.uk or .com) tends to have loads where you can book direct with the owners so much cheaper.
