This is probably a stupid question but should I take something for hanging about in to wear over my cossie? Confused

No, I don't think so - it's just like a swimming pool (the one we went to) so I just wore swimming costume.

I always do, and flip flops, but then I'm not much of a looker in my cossie. Others don't! Most people just wander around in their swim gear. And you can't avoid the wet bedraggled look as you get out of the slide pool and head back to your chosen area......

Which one are you going to Kiri? I'm going to Longleat this weekend.

Isn't there a cafe or something? I basically don't want to be out of the water in my swimsuit for any length of time :o

What do you wear Beck?

I'm going to Sherwood Forest lottie - first time! :)

I don't think there is a cafe but I've only been to Whinfell so this is only the second time for me. Hope you have a good time Kiri Smile

You can take a sarong or a beach dress and just shove it in a bag and leave it on a chair when you are swimming.

Thank you kelda - I will bring my beach dress :)

There is a cafe, serving ice creams, hotdogs, coffee etc.

And what do I wear? A sarong or something like that - or an open long summer shirt - just enough to hide a proportion of my modesty!

The people who look more out of to place, tbh, are those who are not swimming and are sitting with family, say, reading a book and wearing out door clothes.

Cheers Beck, that's what I thought. And thank you lottie - hope you have a lovely time too :)

Thanks - I loved it the first time. I had been debating for years about whether to go but really glad we did. It is a great place for children too.
