Any Dorset locals please who can give me the benefit of their knowledge briefly?

I am looking at going to one of the Parkdene Caravan parks for a few days with the DCs and there is availability at all three for the dates we'd like. Which park would be best for access to a beach for crabbing etc?

TIA

Mckenzie I am a Dorset local and am not much help other than to say the parks are all in a lovely area but probably best to ask people who have actually stayed at the parks which has the best facilities etc

I'm also in Dorset, but have only been crabbing in Devon!

Keep meaning to go to Mudeford Quay, but have been told to not go on the Quay itself but 'round the back', not quite sure what that means since not been but I think it should be obvious if you go.

And just looked up Parkdean and they appear to be well West of Mudeford, sorry!

Tbh I think all the dorset ones are too beachy (as in sandy) when you need rocky areas. That said I havr stayed in the Ruda complex (further than you'd probably want) and the site was fantastic, the entertainment great and we done loads of crabbing and bodyboarding.

Lyme regis in Dorset is good for crabbing.
And the Warmwell park is really nice.
Sorry not much help
