Pintoy dolls house alternatives

My children have a second hand pintoy dolls house and I'd like to buy them some extra things for it for Christmas.
Pintoy sets seem so expensive! Are there any alternatives at the same scale that are likely to fit in?
(I am thinking of a lounge furniture set and some grandparents, in case that helps!)
