Vtech innotab 2 help please!

DS has made up random profiles on his innotab, how do I delete them? I did a bit of googling and restoring it seems to be an option but I don't want to lose all his films and games he has on it. Is there another way?
Also it's not registering when a game is put in, it keeps saying insert cartridge when there's already one in Help please!

restore it if its not recognising games. but i think you can delete the extra profiles in parent settings
