Does one exist? DD1(5) wants one she can put hair bands in etc, but the ones we've had in the past have all got ridiculously tangled

Try LalaLoopsy ones, they have cord style hair which is harder to tangle

I was just coming on to say an Argos Design a Friend. Make sure it has straight hair - they advise not brushing the curly haired ones. They are beautiful dolls for the price too.

I've just had another thought, DD was flicking through a Toys R Us booklet that came through the post today, and I'm sure I noticed a Girls World thing in the form of a full doll. I'll have a look on the website and post back if I find it.

I think it's this Hair doll. This one sings as you brush the hair, which my be great, or very annoying.

Thank you so much for the ideas - I think the singing one would drive me insane though!

She got a "girls world" head type doll for her birthday last year, (I think it was a supermarket imitation) and it got tangled up within minutes of coming out of the box! Hugely annoying for her & very tedious for me who had to spend an evening trying to untangle the bloody thing!

Girls world are awful, a tangled matted mess after 2 brushes. I've been looking at Gotz dolls and Corolle dolls on the Petalina website, they are gorgeous but v expensive. My DDs would love to brush hair though.

Im watching this with interest!
I have 3 big Smoby dolls a friend gave me,( not the ones i mention in another post btw!!) and the hair is awful!
I read about using fabric conditioner, argan oil or hair conditioner and ive tried all those ideas with no success so if anyone replies to this thread about how to UNTANGLE matted hair without leaving it like a 'fro I would be interested Grin

The Gotz and Corolle doll hair is fab.

The Argos dolls frizz.

We've just bought the ELC version of Girl's World and my 5yr old is thrilled with her. She comes with hair accessories plus make-up, so you can do her hair and her face! Her hair is nice and so far we haven't had too many tangles.

Deffo a Gotz doll. The Gotz 'Precious Day' ones in particular are really lovely and hair is seemingly indestructable.

Gotz maxy muffin dolls, lively hair that you can even shampoo & the doll is machine washable!
