I'm horse shopping at the minute found one down here (suffolk) that I really like but there are a couple of issues that are holding me back, (tries to bite when groomed and seedy toe).

However I've just seen the following horse on preloved
www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/107064122/friesen-cross-welsh-cob.html
but I haven't a hope in hell of getting to lancashire in the next few days!

I know there are horses in suffolk but this one appeals from the description, anyone's ride, the breed, welsh x friesian great, it drives and my dad could get back into driving again, plus I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that it's a traveller's horse, we've had 2 ride and drives of about this age from travellers in the past and they have been BOMBPROOF.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sod it I'm going to safecobs to see troy on Sunday . The local horse just tried to bolt with me on the way home, scared me witless and I refused to get back on it, feel a complete wimp for doing so, but it's taught me not to overhorse myself, hence a visit to safecobs is needed!

I would be happy to give you a little for your petrol and time! If anyone could visit this horse, take a few photo's and give me an opinion as to whether the statement, 'you could give this horse to a 3 yr old child or a 90 yr old man rings true'! I'm looking for bombproof but fairly forward thinking!

He reminds me of safecobs dinkey troy but about 3K cheaper so probably to good to be true!

I'm sure I can go and see it if you like? I may pony squish it but I also have a friend in the area who is an instructor who would pop on it (she events at a decent level)
Are you wanting someone to say its for them or viewing kn behalf of?

Happy to say viewing on behalf of! I could get to Lancs at some point but would love someone to save me a journey if the horse is totally unsuitable!

Basically want what most people do, something thats good to handle and safe above all else! Don't mind a bit forward but I can't deal with napping, spooking, fear of traffic etc
