Coping with collaboration

Seems to be lots of collaborating in my new school. Not used to it, I’ve planned for many years on my own and put resources in shared area for others to use, or not use, as they wish.

I can see benefits such as reduced planing time, but to be honest it’s not really that reduced, as I still have to adapt it to my classes. I find it such a waste of my time as meetings go on endlessly and I feel I could get more done quicker on my own! It seems like this is a done thing here. I kind of miss my old place.

I’ve always found collaborative work really time consuming and hard work.
I also have loads of my own short hand but with shared resources I have to really elaborate and it’s a nightmare!
