Maths and Physics teachers are being given a £2000 bonus by the DfE.

You have to have completed your teacher training 2015 onwards and you have to be working in a state school in certain areas of the country (details in link)

Of course it pisses me off that there’s nothing for more experienced maths/physics teachers.

Click bait Wink I'm another one far too experienced to be worthy of any additional payment.

If I put all the exclusions in the thread title, it ended up far too long!

This was actually announced last May. DS teaches maths in one of those areas and qualifies for it, registered last year and was hoping to get it last September.

It looks like you’ll be able to collect it every year.
