Hi....inspection looming next year and HT wants to see 'schemes of work'. I'm thinking Long Term Plans would suffice, but I'm not sure really what HT means by Scheme of Work in terms of EYFS. Any ideas? Thank youSmile

Hand them the Development Matters section of EYFS? What long term plans do you do, we only set out our topics which are deviated from a fair bit anyway. Also, when we were inspected (albeit, 4 years ago) inspectors didn't look at planning at all.

Could this include continuous provision mapping as well and how you implement it?

You could give Dev Matters but argue that as it has to be based on interests of cohort there's no ltp. Christ, so many senior staff know bugger all about EYFS.
