Laura White one of the founding members of the campaign for Fairer Funding in Cheshire East started off earlier this year by organising marches in her local constituency of Crewe and Nantwich, mobilising parents, teachers to fight for funding for all our schools. Nominated as Labour candidate against a popular Tory MP Edward Timpson... and last night she won! By 48 votes, 3 re-counts and 65,000 voters.
We are unbelievably proud of her and she will fight for us all the way.
