Start using Mumsnet PremiumGift to teacher, what would you rather
(2 Posts)I never, ever expect anything but if someone was kind enough to give me a gift, I would love a voucher for somewhere like that, would come in very useful. Something like an Amazon voucher would be good, as the teacher could purchase books, stationery or something for themselves.
I was just reading the thread about schools asking for donations and I noticed that a lot of teachers said they pay for their own equipment.
I usually get a gift for the teacher at then end of year, my DDs teacher this year has been fantastic (and bless her has a rather challenging class) so I was thinking...
What would you rather a nice present for you or vouchers for a crafty place like Hobby Craft for example so that you can get equipment you would normally have to buy?
Oh and I know that some people object to buying presents for teachers, I don't want to start a discussion about this, but for me my Dd has extra needs and her teachers and TAs have gone way above and beyond what I expected, we have the money so it's something I want to do.
