What next after teaching?

Sorry if this has been done before. I'm interested in what kind of jobs ex teachers have gone on to do? I have no idea where to start looking. Has anyone managed to stay in education - working for an exam board or in teacher training? I've been teaching for nearly ten years and it's time to get out. Would be grateful for any experiences.

I git out about 18 months ago and am seriously considering going back, despite the dreadful conditions which made me leave in the first place. Although I'm thinking more of trying out supply teaching, cos at least then you get some say in where you go and when. So maybe I'm not being v helpful, sorry x
