disappearing job on tes website

This morning there was a new job posted on the tes website. I just went to look again so I could e mail for more details and it has disappeared.

Any idea why this would happen? I am so hoping it's a website issue as opposed to there no longer being a vacancy.

Have you asked on TES forums?

Apparently, there have been changes to th job site, which have resulted in complaints on the TES forum.

Typically the job site changed just as I needed to start using it again and navigating it is driving me crazy.

This was however a job that was there - and then just not - and the school website doesn't seem to advertise vacancies. A mystery it seems.

Might be worth checking the local authority website?

I'm about to readvertise and emailed TES stating the date the advert was to go live and despite confirming they uploaded it straight away Angry The first I knew was when agencies started phoning. They removed it a couple of hours later and it goes live properly tomorrow so maybe the same thing happened with the post you're interested in.

Thank you. It actually turned up on the website again today - bizarre.

If you are advertising Notso then just a heads up that the website is being awful again today. Won't let you click on subject filters, only showing the first page of jobs etc. You might be able to get a refund?

Thanks Avebury. I've just done a search and its top of the page today. I'll keep an eye on it although I'm not holding out much hope as we only got 1 applicant last time and the governors haven't done anything to enhance the package to attract anyone else. Who'd be mad enough to apply for a headship that doesn't pay much more than U3+TLR??

That sounds stressful. Good Luck!
