On an earlier post someone mentioned their cats chasing mice in their sleep. I've always said chasing rabbits and now I'm curious - what does your cat chase?

I was watching Kloppy earlier 'stalking' two pigeons; he was lying in wait making himself as invisible as possible and I was enthralled, waiting for him to pounce. Pigeons then waddled past him, about 3m away and Kloppy just watched them Confused

He was a street cat when I found him last year at 8 months old but well fed by several old ladies so he's never had to hunt for food Grin

Anything that moves, from small shrews to next doors chickens, bats, rats, can’t wait for hibernation to start. I have plenty of cats before but nervy such a honed killer as this one

In her dreams anything that moves but with a particular fascination for birds. In reality she can't catch anything.

As a kid we only had one cat that had learnt to hunt properly. She used to stalk guinea fowl which were bigger than her but she was terrified and did it with her coat standing on end! She would have thought big game in her dreams.

Butterflies, leaves and the giant pigeons in the tall tree (but only when they are dreaming big!)

I don't know about when she's asleep but in reality she chases mice, flies, butterflies etc

Mine eats five course tasting menus in his sleep. Lies on the pillow beside me snoozing and smacking his lips together all night (see my recent thread about having an insatiable cat).

Mice
The occasional shrew
He doesn't chase them but he loves a car or a van either trying to get on it or in it. No vehicle is safe. He was sitting on the bonnet of an ambulance the other day.... Hmm
