What can I buy a baby Bengal?

Well two. I feel bad now for telling my boss off for not adopting 😃 Anyway hes my consultant and has always had cats that have lived until they’re 17 and he’s had a crap year and has fallen in love with his next door neighbours Bengal so he’s getting a brother and sister in March. I’ve warned him. He said the neighbour’s give his granddaughter piggy backs and lets her put him in the pram. He has a massive house and garden so I’m sure they will be fine. I don’t know how the neighbours one will feel though😃. Anyway I have to do a Zooplus order so what can I get them? Do they need anything special to play with?

No advice on what to buy them but I actively winced in horror at the thought of 3 bengals living so close together. Maybe buy him some noise cancelling headphones and if he's planning on letting them outside advise him that the rest of his neighbours will probably not be best impressed.

I did try but he said they are ready for anything. I’m guessing very big gardens and detached. They wont be house cats he’s very old school.

I'd be buying presents to be given out to the neighbours nearby. Maybe some labels and a stamp saying 'Sorry my cat ....'? Some idiot near us used to let his Bengals roam. It attacked cats, dogs and absolutely tore my poor neighbour's leg open too.

Their neighbours one is very soft and I’m guessing as they are using the same breeder they are hoping for the same

Well if that's what he's hoping he's either willfully ignorant or exceedingly niave. 1 bengal is sometimes problematic but can be fine if it's the only one in it's territory. 3 bengals living on top of each other is honestly an utterly terrifying concept.

I'd also worry about any breeder who would think this was a suitable place to home 2 begal kittens.

It might be ok, mine had friends when he was young.

They like running, jumping games like da bird.

He might need to cat proof if it does kick off because they aren’t messing about when they do fight.

Will litter mates fight with each other? Are they ever lap cars?

Are they lap cats you say?

Let me think about that 😸

They are with their person. Not so much with “the other humans, who also live here”.

We've had 5 Bengals, all soft as butter, total lap cats, devoted to their humans, gentle with children and incredibly smart. One of them also enjoyed being pushed around in a doll's pram. But the day MIL's dog tried to take a biscuit from "his" toddler, the same docile cat that would let a child take him for a walk in a buggy went from fast asleep on the sofa to having the dog pinned to the ground in a millisecond. As fluffycloud said, they don't mess around when they fight.

The best gift would be cat proof fencing! The second best would a toy on a rod for jumping games or a cat fountain. Ours preferred to drink running water, preferably from a tap, but a fountain was second best.

Toilet water is also good. I started putting a water bowl in the bedroom when I found him up to hindquarters in the loo.

Ours used to “play” with a neighbours tortoise after the resident cat invited him for a play date. Dh worked with that neighbour who asked him “is the spotty brown cat with the green eyes yours?” Dh yes that’s him! Neighbour “he’s a bloody nightmare he playing with the tortoise. Dh “he’s more the wife’s cat really” Blush

Lap cat too, and best friends with the DSH next door.
