The litter tray

Cat litter delivery?

I'm very excited. Finally, after a long period of enforced catless existence, I am able to have another cat!

One problem: I don't have a car and I'll probably have to have cat litter delivered. Any suggestions about best delivery services?

And which litter? My flat is quite small, so pong control is a priority...

I use Zooplus and get the food and other non essential cat items at the same time. Congratulations cats are the best, you are soon to be a cat slave.

Thanks everyone. I know all about the service needs of felines. I am lucky to have ancillary staff (my adult son) to share the load. Ma'am has been in residence for less than an hour but she's already made it abundantly clear that this is HER residence.

I'm very happy with Golden Grey (blue) from Zooplus.

You know we need photos? Lots of supermarkets deliver with groceries so i wouldnt worry too much.

I am in a flat and Use Cats best. This is a very good price for the small bag and it shpuld last at least two weeks. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DACZ0BO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

Zooplus is good for litter, food, scratchers, cat trees, toys, etc

I usually get Cat's Best from Ocado with my weekly grocery shop, much easier to have the delivery slot I've chosen rather than waiting for couriers.

I find World's Best outrageously expensive. I buy Amazon Basics Wood Pellets, 30 litres for £13.29 on subscribe and save.

Cat's Best from Zooplus.

And all the cat food too. The relief of not having to carry it around from the supermarket.

I buy mine from Fetch which is the animal Ocado. You can choose a one hour delivery slot.

What a gorgeous cat Smile

I get Frank's cat litter delivered with my Sainsbury's order. 10 litres for £1.85 - its basic, but I change it every day, so none of that tedious cleaning. I put the litter tray inside a black bin bag, tuck the ends underneath, and pour the litter in. When it's time to change it, just turn the bag inside out and tie the top. Job done.

Thank you for all your suggestions Smile

@justcly - I like the idea of wood pellets. How are they for odour control. Have other posters tried them?

PS... I agree she's gorgeous but has severe behavioural issues (abused rescue cat). But she has already calmed down, and one day she may let me stroke her. We'll get there!

I use Fetch, although they they don't sell the litter his lordship prefers. I like the one hour time slot and they don't use Hermes, unlike Zooplus!

Another Cat's Best buyer here (usually from Zooplus, but I can select DPD to deliver). Our two are generally good at burying their waste but I also bought a Neutradol gel air freshener which sits above the tray.

The kittens were taught to use a tray with this litter, so I am reluctant to change.

OP these online pet stores all seem to have introductory offers so it might be worth doing a big first order.
