The litter tray

How much to pay for cat care

We are going away for the weekend soon and our lovely cleaner has agreed to feed and poop scoop our cats. She said to pay what we think. What do others pay? We would be asking her to feed morning and evening and poop scoop once a day.

I pay £15 for two visits.

Thanks. That's the ball park I was thinking of. Maybe 20 quid as it's a bit of a faff to come here twice a day even if she's only in here a short while (and I would bet on her staying for a bit to fuss them).

I pay £8 a visit from an actual cat sitter.

My cleaner does mine, I pay her £5 per day for two visits, feeding and poop scooping.

I think our cat feeder charges about 8 quid per visit, but she comes quite a distance, and Spongecat luffs her, so I give her 10 on the grounds that it's unreasonable for her to come out for less, given the distance.

I pay £5 for each half hour visit and my cat sitter comes twice a day. Is she staying that long or literally feeding and going? I'd take that into consideration.
Also she's not qualified etc so that's something to think about

We recently paid €20 a day for two visits for two cats, including medicating one twice a day and looking after food and litter boxes.

Pet pals charged us £9 per visit. We would give cat double feed first day and last day so only paid for in between days. Then our wonderful neighbours offered and we haven't paid since (well we have in gin, wine and chocolates but not a patch on what pet pals charge).
