Lump from tick bite.

Cheddar bought a friend home from the cattery 3 weeks ago. I got it all out as I saw it walking across the laminate floor after it flicked off.
She's still got a scan and a lump at the site. I've pressed it quite hard and it's not hurting her.
Is this a normal reaction to a tick bite?
Gratuitous pic included!

Yes, it is normal, particularly if the tick has been attached for a few days. The lump can also hang around for several weeks. In the vast majority of cases, it is completely harmless and doesn't bother them.

Thanks. She's not at all bothered by it. I was surprised it was still there.

She is gorgeous and she knows it. 1 year tomorrow since I went to visit her in the rescue. Feels like she's always been here!

She’s stunning. A year? Already? Seems like longer and no time at all.
Just a note. She’s warning you. This year I bring home a tick. Next year .... Grin
