Warm weather

Anyone else have a long haired kitty who really struggles with the heat? It knocks my poor little Simba for six!

Fortunately my house is fairly cool. But Snorg is not allowed out if it's very hot as she's black and long haired. They have a cooling mat, but it's never been sat on!

My house is hotter than outside at the moment and my boy is definitely sleeping more than usual. He loves his cooling mat though!

I think Boycat is sleeping about 20-22 hours a day at the mo, depending on whether you consider falling into a doze while being cuddled as asleep or not. He's also developing a tendency to sleep through supper time, but makes up for it by cleaning his bowl during the night.
