On holiday, cat sitter is coming in twice a day to feed and administer medicine to asshat.

First visit - message, "can't find her anywhere, any ideas where she's hiding" 10 mins later, found her, she's gone crazy at me and bit me!

Seconds visit, put some cat nip down and fed them. Went back a bit later with oh to help, little minx cuddled up to him for her meds.

Third visit - she hates me! Shows me her teeth everytime I walk in the door

🤷‍♀️😾 please humour me with some stories where cats have been twats to cat sitters/at catteries to make me feel less ashamed of her!

The late Fatty was fairly docile but I was mortified when the groomer had to put her special muzzle on her as she was getting aggressive. Incredibly unlike her!

Dcat needs twice daily medication. Until a few months ago we could hide it in Easypill paste and she’d take it no problem.

Then we went on holiday for a week. She punished us (me) by refusing the tablets for the cat sitter. I suggested other methods and all were rejected.

We now have a situation where she will only accept the pill from me. So short of me ensuring that I am at home every morning and evening for the next 20 years we have a problem. She’s an angel for me but when dh attempts to pill her he has to chase her around the house and enlist dd1’s help to drag her out of small spaces.

Dkitten on the other hand launches herself at the catsitter and clings onto her legs in case she forgets to feed her Hmm

Fatty was on 8 pills a day towards the end of her life. She was an absolute angel with them. For everyone who gave them too her. That makes up for the grooming muzzle.
