Which dry cat food does your cat like?

Just wondering which dry cat foods other cats like. Mine came to me on Proplan One and Proplan Optistar which went down well. They don't like Scrumbles or Ava. They enjoyed Applaws but I've readit can cause skin allergies and the citric acid in it isn't good for cats. I tried them on Thrive this morning, they've eaten some but time will tell if it's popular.

Mine love Royal canin Persian or exigent aromatic. Unfortunately It makes cheddar sick. So we are on Sainsbury's wheat free and Iams vitality. They like scrambles but I think they find the kibble to small to pick up
With their flat Persian faces. Similar problem with James Wellbeloved.

Ours will not eat the better quality ones and he knows when we try to trick him. He'll only eat Purina One or Go Cat Crunchy and Tender.

Mine will only eat Whiskas dry with the pockets.
They'll eat any tinned though so I just get Asdas own.

I switched my old man to Royal Canin Urinary SO ( he'd started peeing in strange places), and it i like bloody crack. He devours it, inhales it. No idea why, but after 12 years I have found his absolute favourite!

Madcat (14) year old has Purina One Sterilcat left for him to pick at/scoff. He went off IAMS.

Oh, and before that, he just ate Go Cat. I tried all sorts of 'good' food and he turned his nose up!

Mine seem happy to eat Lily's Kitchen.

My 3 get Royal Canin young neutered female - even though one is male, & another is going to be 7 soon Grin

When I got first 2 kittens I tried them on other recommended biscuits like James Wellbeloved but they weren't keen. They all love the Royal Canin & the older lady, when she hasn't had any for a while, will sit beside the container & give meaningful looks towards the empty dish until she gets some!

This is my latest collection of dried food, most of which my cat has tucked into with initial enthusiasm and then refused to eat once I've invested in a big bag.
Royal Canin Sensible is back in favour at the moment.

Mine are happy with Lily's Kitchen And I've just realised they're happy with either dog or cat versions depending on whether the dog has eaten his dinner.

Olinguito Shock - I think many of us have a collection like that. At the moment I literally have a whole delivery of wet foods from zooplus.

Royal canin dental biscuits and perfect fit. Both cats age 4 seem to love these for the past few months. Have now bought in bulk which means they'll hate them next week.

Mine eat Tesco's own. Probably not great for them but times are tough and I'm just about affording that. A friend gave me some better quality stuff that their cat wouldn't eat and it gave them diarrhoea.

My 3 devour Applaws chicken.

Report
bellinisurge · 16/02/2019 07:38

Another Applaws fan here. We give her half a tin of complimentary wet kitten food a day AS A TREAT(she's nearly 4) but she devours the dry stuff as her main food.
