Don't know much about cat killers, do know lots about national journalists. Most don't get to leave their desks much now - the pace of news has speeder up so much and most news organisations have lost about a third of their editorial staff since 2009. So everyone is frantically multitasking. The idea that journalists working on a national outlet have lots of time to move all over is very out of date. Maybe there's other evidence which points to the identity of killer but I am struggling to be convinced by this alone.

If it's one person, rather than a series of copy cats ( no pun intended), then I would have thought something like delivery driver or sales rep. fitted the bill better? A local journalist would surely only be sent to local events, national coverage would come from an agency?
Or, come to think of it, someone like me, I travel all over the country auditing.
It's not me, I'm a devoted cat slave!Grin

That's kind of bizarre - of all the jobs that mean you move round the country, a journalist is surely not the first thing that springs to mind?! Why that? What other evidence has made them think of a Journalist??

Apparently there are details that are withheld from the public, which are common to all 'confirmed' cat killer cases.

Really glad they're staying on this, so worrying. I wonder if the journalist thing is something they're saying to send a message to someone? Or maybe it's one of those things that get said casually in a half sentence, and someone makes more of it than it needs to be. Does sound very odd.

I read something recently which suggested quite convincingly that this could just be fox attacks.

How odd.

Is there a journalist from Addiscombe, Croydon who should be worried?

If you mean the article in the Guardian SNARL have strongly denied this. The person behind the article has never been linked to the investigation and, having read SNARL's reply, there is no way foxes are behind this.
