Title is in humour, in no way do I claim any ownership of this cat!

We've been visited pretty much daily by a lovely middle aged cat who seems to either live so near that she hears us come home, or is in our garden more often than not. Only have to step into the garden and 30 seconds later she's trotting down to ask for fuss. We went away for a week recently and she came running down the drive when we pulled into the drive. Here early morning/late often (we assume she has a flap at her house).
I'm more than happy for her to enjoy our garden (we have no dogs or children) but have never fed her or allowed her into the house.
Today I noticed a small cut near her eye and I feel like I should pop a paper tag on her to check she is indeed owned and someone is keeping an eye on it. Would you be annoyed if someone did this to your cat?

I'd be glad some else was looking out for them. Though I doubt many cats actually keep paper collars on!

I would be annoyed at CharlieAlphaTango's disloyalty. He is a MUMmy's boy.

Seems to have cleared up now and she's happy as ever. She's not got an ounce of loyalty @MikeUniformMike ! She'd be in our house/fridge/bed if we weren't vigilant and firm!
