My cat had a dental in April. 2 weeks later he wasn’t eating much and was miserable.
The vet said his remaining top teeth are irritating the lower left where 4 teeth had been removed. He’s had nearly 4 weeks of loxicam which finished a few days ago.
Today he won’t eat but doesn’t seem unhappy and he isn’t nagging for food. He was out when I got in but was very fussy and is now asleep on my lap.
I’m worried the healthy top left teeth will have to be removed. Is this a common occurrence?. I’ve had numerous teeth removed myself for over crowding so I know gums usually toughen up quickly.
