Shower with cat in the bathroom

This may seem a bit random! Had kitten 3 weeks. When she’s not preoccupied by her toys, she follows me and waits patiently outside any doors I’ve closed.
I want have a shower this afternoon, meaning she could be waiting outside the door for longer than usual. If I let her in the bathroom, would she be freaked out by the water and by seeing me in it?

The water would be a bit scary. I would leave the door open.

I don't think cats care about your nudity tbh!!

Leave the door open a little bit? Then it's her choice to come in or not.

Nope she should be fine. I have to lock my cat out of the bathroom when I am bathing as she literally climbs in with me. Loveable but annoying. Lol

My kitten will open the bathroom door to watch me in the shower and play with the droplets of water through the glass of the cubicle. I do evict her from the actual shower itself before turning the water on to prevent injury though!

Be warned, my cat likes nothing more than a big smelly shit as soon as I get into the bath

Leave the door open. But be aware she might decide to try and join you.

Mine did this, there was space for them to sit on the top of the showerdoor.
First time i had a shock, glanced up to see this face staring down at me from above!

cats are very discreet, she won't tell anyone what she saw!

Most of my cats have shown an interest in our bathroom habits, one (idiotcat) used to like to press his little pussy cat nose up against the shower doors while people were in there, and then as soon as the shower was off he would just into the tray and sit in the puddle. And sometimes drink the water.

Mine is obsessed with watching me shower, he loves the sound of the water. Either that or he's a giant perv, not sure which. Grin

Yeah, mine likes to sit in the bath after someone’s had a shower. He then looks affronted at getting his tail/paws wet.

Idiot.

I saw this on another thread a couple of weeks ago. These cats are really not happy about the showering of their human:

Mine sits in the tray and grooms herself in the mist - it’s funny.

My cat used to sit under the sink, safely out the way of the water but close to his mum, while I showered. Very cute! Only when he was a kitten.

He once did it when my mum had a shower, she didn’t realise until she stepped out and he emerged from under the sink. She was not happy. Grin

@TheCatFromOuterSpace GrinGrinGrin for some reason I read it as your cat can't wait for you to do a shit when you get in the bath Confused

Mine sits on my towel, has done since he was a tiny kitten. He then refuses to move even if I drip all over him and I have to pick the whole towel up in the end. It's become somewhat bedraggled (Towel not Cat).
