So selfish

My cat is so selfish, next door have and ‘out door’ cat, in brackets as the cat has no choice. Every time I open my windows next doors cat try’s to come in and my cat sees it off with full on cat fisticuffs.
WHY? it (next doors cat) is a small young thing and no threat to my one and only matriarch and only wants some comfort which I would be happy to offer as I always feel sorry for it curled up on there doorstep in all weathers and coming to greet me when I walk past.
My cat is so mean, I would love to be a (second) home to ndc but my cat won’t let me

Cats are territorial. Try shutting your cat out of the room if you want the other one to come in.

I can’t do that, it’s not fair on mine, I just feel sorry for ndc as it is left outside and obviously wants to come indoors
