Are you pregnant

Ooh, I only came on to ask the same as Hammers.
When I was pregnant my cats couldn't leave me alone!

I certainly hope not 😳

If there's a chance, I'd take a test. Smile

We have four and two of them are always on my lap.

I am nearly 48 so I hope I'm not bloody pregnant!!

This is me with Silver (tabby/white and Bella (black/white) (excuse the messy hair!)

No No - it may be the weather or something. (If it's new behaviour.) Keep cool.

And do the test if in any sort of doubt. Grin

You're not wearing a new item of clothing? (Particularly a fluffy jumper or dressing gown). One of ours isn't particularly a lap cat, but will fight to sit on the lap if anyone wearing something fluffy.

It is, I'm not complaining maybe they've just not had much opportunity to show their love until the break

Ah well. Maybe, if the house is at sixes and sevens, they're seizing on you as their 'rock'. Smile

They're feeling snuggly - and the answer to that is to shout the Sacred Rule of Petcare:

'Can't Move Cat on Lap' ie no cooking, washing up, housework for you all through Xmas :)

They've probably been excited at the change in routine - cooking smells, lots of food, people, new stuff about, etc. Is this their first Christmas in the Brummie household?

MCat became particularly fond of me when I acquired a black and white onesie, so I looked like a giant version of him.

I'd take the test though. Just to be on the safe side.

*... and Little M was most pleased when we were doing a BBQ. He sat there smelling the air, and sharing my delicious home-made beef-burger. Then we all wondered where the MKitten had got to. Search of house, garden and found him contentedly munching away on a packet of naice (raw) sausages he'd quietly stolen.

:) Little M enjoying having people round.

I can't move today. Mr C is wedged on me stretched out long with paws forward, rigid, a literal bar to productivity. Most pleasant.
