Why do they go missing at the most awkward times?

Haven't seen her since at least around 5pm yesterday and it might even have been yesterday morning (it's awful buy I don't remember, I had a stressful day at work and can't remember if she was there when I came in). She HAS done this before and came back but she might not this time? I don't have a great feeling. She's also all but deaf- she loves going out and I felt we shouldn't have stopped her (can't cat proof fence). Urgh!

So glad! That has happened several times to my cats, such a relief when you find them!

yes and every time you think they're gone for good! This cat of mine is on her third time doing this!
