Cat pee

I am hoping some of you can help me. For about the past 6 months the cat has been peeing on shoes/carpet/ bags etc. She is about 12 years old. She has always been a proud, non messy animal.

I took her to the vet about 3 months ago, who examined her and did bloods etc and they were all fine.

We have done things like putting a box in the greenhouse and a chair for her also in the greenhouse in case she wanted peace and quiet. I have a 3 and a 1 year old. We have tried putting her outside for longer. Making sure she has the opportunity to go to out later if she wants to go out to pee.

She has always had the run of the house. But I am getting to the end of my tether. I picked up my toddler nursery bag and she has weed in it today. I have thrown out so many of my shoes. My mum is saying it is disgusting and I don't know what else to do.

I should also say, it has been suggested I put her to sleep by family. She is also peeing on the rug in the hall and my door mat. I don't know how much more I can take. I went to the gym to find she had pee in my gym kit

This sounds like some sort of territorial issue if medical reason has been ruled out.
Add a litter tray to the cat's preferred new peeing area as a short term measure.
Is there something in the house making the cat feel unsettled? I know the world doesn't revolve around your cat but cats generally think it does.
Could your cat do with some new perch posts (little shelves or top of cupboards) to get away and observe its domain from there.
No expert myself but have seen that sort of thing suggested online e.g Jackson Galaxy or Cats Protection YouTube tips.

I can't think of anything that might of stressed her, other than having 2 young children in the house. If it had started after number 2 arrived I would of understood.

That is why we turned over the greenhouse to her. My husband has suggested adding a couple more litter boxes but she is liking to pee in our bedroom and the hallway. I am a bit reluctant to put them here. Since don't really want a litter box to be the first thing people see when they come in. Or am I being stupid
