Cat pee on sofa!

So a few weeks ago the current DCat peed on our fabric sofa, right in a corner. We've wiped, cleaned, you name it.

Every so often, and a propos of nothing (he hasn't done it since) there's the occasional whiff of cat pee. The sofa covers are sewn into the large cushions and cannot be taken off.

Any ideas on how to get rid?

I use cleaner specifically for pet incidents called Bust It. Spray it on the area and rub it in. It's good for hard and soft furnishings, including sofas. It always gets the smell out :)

Is Bust It available in the supermarkets?

I'm having the exact same problem with one of my girls. I was advised by a vet nurse on the insurance helpline to scrub with fairy liquid and spray with surgical spirit. She said to avoid the pet sprays as they make it worse. My covers are removable thank god. So have puppy pads underneath. I found blocking her acsess with her bed and favourite cushion has been most effective.

We used Total Care Biological Stain and Odour Remover. The vet recommended it.

I got Bust It from Time for Pets. I'm not sure if they sell it in supermarkets, sorry!
