The litter tray

Treated with Broadline, still got tick?

BogBastard has been enjoying the garden so much he's come in with a tick on his ear Angry. He is up to date with Broadline spot on treatment, is it just bad luck if they still get the odd one? Or would another treatment be more effective?

BastardTick has been removed and exterminated by DH while I was at work - hopefully completely. He (and I) didn't know about using a special thingy until too late. Presumably all we can do is keep an eye on the ear and visit vet if it doesn't heal clean?

I'd do that and ask the vet how long broadline takes to kill a tick. I suppose they can still latch on but you'd expect them to be poisoned by the broadline.

Thank you. Now he's got a small pink lump on the ear where it was removed. Not obviously sore or messy. Happy and active.
How long could I expect for the wound to heal after the removal of BastardTick?
