Lying by the side of the road. It was 5.30am. A car pulled up and the driver said they had moved him to the pavement and were coming back to take him to the vet.
Devastated doesn't cover it. He was just so lovely.

Poor lovely puss, RIP. It is awful losing your cat. Very similar happened to our last cat it was years ago and I'm weeping thinking of her now. So sorry, look after yourself, we're thinking of you.

Bloody pets.
They come into your life, drive you mad.
Bring you half eaten mice/fleas and call them presents.
They leave their little muddy footprints all over the floor, and the bed
.....and your heart.
And then they are gone.
