The litter tray

I didn't expect a *%?!$ leopard!

Said besotted DH after an evening spent coaxing the cat down from the neighbours bungalow roof. His route up there was from the pitch of our garden shed (itself accessed by climbing twelve feet up the apple tree and jumping down). He then cleared what must have been an eight- ten foot gap in a single leap, travelling two or three feet upwards, to land on the roof tiles of the bungalow. I didn't believe he could have done until I saw him gather his courage and make the return journey, aided by a bowl of Dreamies Smile

Have I forgotten what cats can do, not having owned one for twenty years? Or have they indeed made a mistake and sent us a leopard?

I recall, many years ago, seeing a documentary about a particular zoo and there was one extended scene of an animal keeper assiduously testing and re-testing every lock/bolt etc in the leopard house. When asked why he was being so careful, he said something to the effect of 'Lions and tigers are pretty straightforward but leopards? They're just sneaky! I'm extra careful with them'.

Just thought I'd mention that. Grin

He's not one of these, is he?

Wonderful. If Fluffy comments, I do hope she'll post that wonderful picture of ASBO (her Bengal) and the toilet paper. Grin

I enjoyed that Grin

No, he's a Siberian - looks a lot like the other cat in the film.

He does have a worrying obsession with the printer and the bathroom light pull.

Make alternative off-site arrangements for printing and hold your memorial service for the light pull now would be my advice then. Wink

Haha as I read your post I thought you were describing how your DH got up there to rescue the cat. I was seriously impressed by his climbing skills until I realised your were talking about the cat, it was the bowl of Dreamies that clarified things BlushGrin

our ginger tom used to be found regularly on the bungalow roof - sunny spot innit :)

no idea how he used to get up there

No, we were only contemplating DH making a ten foot leap across thin air when it looked as if cat had no idea how to get back, it was getting darker and colder, and the neighbours were (of course) away for the Easter weekend.

DH has many talents but being in the cast of the Avengers isn't yet one of them!
