The litter tray

My cat is limping

He doesn't mind us touching it and can put weight on the paw but when sitting he holds it up. We thought he was asking for something. He has limped twice before, once when his sister bit him and he needed a vet visit and medicine and the other time he walked it off. He will be very traumatised if we have to take him to the vet but I can't leave him if he's injured.

He's been in most of the day, sleeping on his duvet mountain, has eaten, purred and snored on my lap, enjoyed a treat stick but something seems wrong.

He's is four.

Ummm sounds like a vet visit would be good, if your gut is saying that. It's good that he is eating so worth seeing how he is tomorrow. The thing I hate is they can't easily tell us what's going on.

Hope he's better tomorrow Flowers

This morning he came in the minute I appeared in the kitchen, has eaten breakfast and is now settled on the duvet pile (meant to be going in the bin,). DH just gave him a stroke and he rolled in to his back with his arms stretched up for a tummy tickle. He's now washing and seems perfectly happy. I felt there was a very slight limp when he ran in for breakfast so I'll let him rest for a bit and then see how he is. I can't see the Sunday vet doing a home visit tbh. My cat was abandoned so panics when in the car that he is being rejected again Sad.

He did seem to be fine but is now limping again. He is currently sleeping all day but I'm sure he's out all night...

Are you to vet him today?

He's absolutely fine today Confused. Well enough to shout at his sister, catch and bring in a mouse and sleep in daddy's chair all day.
