Feeding new kitten...

I have just been lucky enough to get a job as slave to a tiny bundle of fur called Max. I've missed our cats since dh left me 18 months ago so I'm really excited. Up until now he's been eating dry science plan and, until he went off it, the wet stuff too (he's now on Felix wet, apparently).

I just wondered what opinions were about science plan. Should I stick with it, or is there a better option? I've heard that a no grain food might be an improvement?

No grain is always preferable. Just feed wet if he is happy on it.

Thank you. I've always fed a combination of both, and would prefer to feed a top quality dry food and plenty of water than felix, as a rule. The no grain suggestion is helpful, thank you.

We used to feed only dry until one of ours got cystitis. Our vet told us it's Best to give at least one wet food a day to help prevent this especially in male cats who can be susceptible to bladder problems
