The litter tray

So we are bringing home a new kitten on Monday

We took in a gorgeous little stray around a year ago, and had loads of amazing advice on here. Our wee girl has gone from being an anxious, shivering little pet, to an absolute cuddle monster. We have been asked to take in a kitten, badly in need of a home. She's lovely, and very affectionate.

I'm just rather worried as to how to get our cat used to the newbie kitten. She's still quite anxious, so I'll make sure that she gets lots of love and attention. Is there anything else I can do to make introducing a new kitten into her home easier for her?

Thanks Alpaca, I'll do that. Am really (overly) worried about upsetting the cat. Kitten has been in a home with two cats and two dogs, so is fine around other cats, but the cat is quite nervous. I'm worried that I'm being mean to her, taking in this kitten, but the kitten really needed a home so I couldn't not give her one. Am ridiculously stressed, and no doubt completely over thinking the whole situation.
