Does anybody know which company insures pregnant cats?

I may be wrong but think if already pregnant will be classed a spree sitting condition and won't, otherwise you need special breeders insurance, am thinking pet plan?

We went with Sainsbury's a coup!e of wee!s ago. It was the cheapest, p!us you get 2 years of double nectar points. I don't know what they'd charge for a pregnant cat though. Why don't you wait until the kitteens are born and then start the insurance?

Animal friends insurance by far the best and cheapest, and covers older moggies too. Not sure about preggers though.

All their profits go to animal charities too, and they pay up fast.

Pet insurance policies will not cover any issues to do with breeding unless it is a breeder policy obviously) so if your cat needs a C Section, the insurance would not pay up anyway. Insure her regardless. Most cat's have uneventful labours. I doubt you even need to mention the pregnancy on the form.

Dinnae is right policies exclude breeding related conditions so c-section will not be covered. There used to be breeding specific policies, but they have disappeared to as the premiums had to be really high to cover potential costs.
