I have two cats. One is Stanley, a laid back boy, friendly without being needy. The other is Bunty, a small black snot rag of a cat. She moves away in disgust when anyone tries to stroke her and if you catch her eye she glares. My DH swears she is the reincarnation of a Victorian Poisoner.

But all is forgiven because Bunty is a formidable fly catcher with lightening reflexes. This morning a bluebottle was buzzing about annoyingly and with one swipe, Bunty had leaped into the air and swatted it one! It fell like a stone. We are in awe. Bunty of course just flicked her tail in the air and stalked off.

We are not worthy

Haha, Jack loves to swipe flies and bees. Wasps (sugar puffs) are his fave though.

He also likes to swipe my feet and ankles. Well, they move, don't they?

God love 'em :D

Little Monsieur's managed to catch and eat 3 flies over the last couple of days. He got a taste for them last summer, when he was a kitten, when he'd follow me about, munching any flies I swatted. He prefers them to Dreamies. He does that teeth chattering thing while stalking them.

If I bend over, he jumps on my back, then runs up to my shoulders. Where he will ride about, like a curly, furry parrot.

Impressed by Bunty's blue-bottle. Those things practically travel at the speed of light!
