The litter tray

'Come Home' vibes needed!

My little long haired cat Tinker has disappeared from the garden. She was last seen on Friday and didn't come home when we had really heavy rain, which is unusual for her.
I've trailed round the village calling her, but there isn't sight or sound of her.

I'm delivering leaflets to the neighbours today in the hope that she has been accidentally trapped somewhere. I'm sick with worry wondering what could have happened to her two sleepless nights now, so please can I ask for loads of vibes for her to come home. Sad

Oh no, have you phoned the local vets and rescues? Plus the council refuse dept?.

Keep walking and calling. I was told the rain can wash away familiar scents so they get lost.

Is she microchipped?.

Oh that's crap. My cat went AWOL for three days, nearly four a couple of years ago. Definitely get onto local vets, shelters etc.

Sending come home vibes. Most likely in a shed or garage after sheltering from the rai n.

Thankfully she's microchipped, so I've notified the company to send alerts out, she has a fairly small range usually, so I can only think she's wandered further afield or been stuck in a shed. I've done the leaflets this morning.
We're beside a river which is quite swollen, so I'm praying she hasn't gone in that.
I'm keeping everything crossed that she comes home today, her mum Tansy is looking and calling for her and starting to get a bit stressed I think.

I really hope she comes back. My young cat went missing for 3 days last year and it was very stressful and sad. He turned up again nine the worse and we think he may have been shut in somewhere so definitely ask people to check sheds, garages & also builders to check building sites if you have any near you (I can't be sure but I think mine got stuck in a house nearby which was being gutted & renovated)

Thankyou for the virtual hand holding - I'm really pleased to say that Tinker has returned, we heard her shouting for us as she came across the gardens. Grin She does look like she's been shut in somewhere, she's quite dirty, hungry thirsty and full of energy - she's usually shattered after she's been out for a while.

She's now playing with her mum who is really happy now, and she has had her loc8tor collar put on so not very happy as she hates it and always loses it, but I need a few stress free days after this. The good thing is that it's helped my diet no end, I haven't been able to eat a thing since Friday!

Hopefully a good nights sleep tonight thank goodness. Grin I look terrible as I cried with relief when she turned up, so my eyes are like pee holes in the snow, definitely need some beauty sleep!
