The litter tray

why can't the cat puke in one place!

Why is it, that if it needs to be sick cos it's bolted its supper that it sees fit to leave a trail. Not content with three places across the dining room floor but also on the window sill and over the grill of the radiator. DH will love the smell of warming whiskers as I can't reach all the bits! Love em!

Also, 9/10 times they throw up on a surface that's difficult to clean eg. on the carpet or sofa as opposed to on a tiled floor

If mine throws up on the old polished wooden floorboards it's usually directly on the cracks between the boards rather than in the middle of the (fairly wide) boards themselves. It's a real talent he has.

One of my cats throws up a lot. He used to always throw up on easy-wipe surfaces, AND his brother used to clear up after him. Unfortunately he seems to have realised that carpets are much more fun to barf on, and his bro has realised that eating lightly pre-digested Science Plan is gross. Throwing up on my feet at 3am is his piece de resistance so far.

I win, our cat had a hair ball and decided the best place to deal with this was... On the dining room table!

Yep. That's hard to beat.

Mine likes to do it on the stairs. Halfway down, in the shadows, where you don't see it. Cold half-digested Felix is vile when it's squishing between your toes on a chilly morning.
