I'm so sorry to read about your cat - what a sad thing to happen. They very quickly become part of the family, don't they, and leave a real gap when they've gone, no matter how long we have had them. The fact she was expecting makes it even more poignant. I hope you are able to put her to rest somewhere peaceful and that you feel a bit brighter as the days pass.

Aww that is very sad, sorry to hear that.

It's amazing how quickly pets become part of the family really. I'm sure she had a lovely life with you though it was brief.

thanks for your replies, yes it's quite amazing how quickly they become part of the family, she came home when she was hit and I found her on the doorstep she came in and collapsed on the floor, I loved her dearly :(

I would take some consolation from the fact, even though you'd only had her for 6 weeks she came home to you at the end - she obviously felt safest with you. Once again, I'm really sorry.

Please don't ever feel embarassed about how sad you are feeling.

When our cat Frank got run down outside our house, I cried like a baby for 2 days straight. And this is coming from a normally manly man lol :)

I'm so sorry.

I lost one of my boys to cancer in October. I still have a little weep about him from time to time.
