Trigger warning- death/mental health

Hi-
I'm hoping someone has some advice, support, anything I can do?
My dad is disabled and struggles with his mental health, feeling depressed. His beloved dog died 11 days ago. He told me he will be burying her in his garden, he can't afford to have her cremated. I have found out today that he has not buried her because his garden is horrendously overgrown. I am more than happy to pay for her to be cremated- but is it too late? I don't know what she would be like now (wrapped in a bedsheet and packing tape) as horrible as it is to think, I'm not sure if they would still allow it? If so, is there someone I can contact who would be able to collect her and take her to the vets to be cremated?
He lives 200 miles away from me, neither of us drive, I have 2 young dc.

It will be much cheaper in my experience to find a local pet crematorium and sort it yourself rather than going through the vet . Most will also collect the animal for an additional fee . I wouldn’t worry too much about the condition of the body I’m sure they’ve seen all sorts . Whereabouts does you dad live and maybe someone could suggest somewhere .

Yes, the pet crematorium local to me will come out and collect and then return the ashes if you are unable to collect.
