Stinky dog!

BastardDog, a smooth collie, was groomed on Saturday - he had his teeth cleaned and full groom/shampoo/brush as well. So why does he smell bloody awful?

He has a good quality diet and poo has been normal (for him). He farts (too often) but the farty smell seems to be hanging around him all the time for the past couple of days. I have a fairly lousy sense of smell but even I can smell him.

We are going away tomorrow- I don't want the holiday rental to end up honking of dog. Is there anything I can do?

He isn't really a roller. Oh God, anal glands - how would I check?

Quick sniff near his backside would give you a fairly good indication. Lift his tail and see if there’s any swelling. It’s often quite a fishy smell.🤢
