Ideas of what to put in a kong for a puppy

Pup is 10 weeks and the kong is a huge hit. I’d stocked up on packaged puppy treats but he’s not really interested in them- he’s enjoying real food. So far he’s had tiny cubes of cheese, turkey mince and Greek yoghurt mixed up.

Any other ideas? I’m allergic to peanuts so can’t give him PB.

My dog likes mashed banana mixed with yogurt.

Ooh following! I hear fruit, then frozen is a good call - but I can't imagine giving them a frozen one at this time of year! Mine is enough of a wuss about the cold as it is!

If you make home made broth from bones, that frozen inside it would work and be nutritious for your dog.

Peanut butter but make sure it doesn't have xylitol in it - toxic to dogs.

Frozen peas, a dab of butter, tiny bits of real meat. Slices of raw carrot. The dog treats you buy are junk food and really boring, same as dog biscuits.

Low salt stock. Tape up the small hole, pour it in and freeze. Could add some bits of chicken, cheese etc. Mine loves mashed banana and frozen grated carrot in it too.

We put pate in ours then freeze for an hour or so just to firm up a bit.
Steamed veggies would also be a good one to try.

Pate goes down well as does sandwich meat pastes. Always freeze them so they last longer and not messy.

Literally anything!

Vegetables, cheese, cream, yoghurt, gravy, stock, meat, wet and dry dog food, pate, egg, tomato paste.

Freezing definitely adds another level too.

Lickimats are also good, you can pour gravy on and freeze.
