Looking for advise please on what's best to feed a cocker spaniel. Currently has biscuits but looking for healthier alternative that doesn't cost a fortune. Maybe some more natural biscuits or affordable meat? I can't stand the thought of using raw feed involving animal body parts 🤢

Our spaniel has a pretty sensitive tum.
We’ve just moved her onto fishmongers finest dry food from Pets at home. She’s doing great on it and looks fab.
There’s a website called allaboutdogfood.com that rates every single dog food and this one comes in at about 75% which I’m happy with. Mid price range too.
Pedigree comes in at a few % shockingly.

My spaniel and dachshund are on millie wolfheart hunter mix.

It's highly rated on all about dog food and 80% meat 20% veg which was really important to me. The dogs LOVE it.

Price per meal works out relatively cheaply as you dont have to feed as much as you would with other brands.

Another Millie's fan here, we use tracker or highland mix for our 6 year old chocolate lab, she's had leg issues and prone to gaining weight whilst recovering so these 2 are lower fat. Shiny coat, firm poos and strong nails also benefits

Millies wolfheart is good high meat content (have used them in the past but my dog went off their flavours).

Slightly cheaper is forthglade for wet.

look on allaboutdogfood.co.uk as mentioned above. Put in your dogs details and filter by price and quality.

Another vote for Millie's . We use a mix of the Riverside and Agility. Ddog has allergies too but has never had a reaction to Millie's. They have a customer service/nutritional advice team you can chat to on the phone/web chat which are very helpful

Out delicate tummy terrier is on Millie’s too. On their website you can put the dogs details and find the best food to suit their needs. Our dog is fed wet and dry. I get the dry from Essentials, she loves it and we use it on walks for treats and recall.

//Www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk is an excellent resource.

Mine turned up his nose at the Millies Wolfheart tin I bought. I usually buy Lukullus / Wolf of Wilderness tins, and Wolf of Wilderness or Markus Muhle dry. He likes a bit of variety too.

We use Miles Wolfheart too which is wonderful. We buy the multipack cans which don't attract VAT as it's supposed to be a working dog food. If works out at £1.30 a can Including postage but you do have to buy in bulk.
