She's under investigation after she started peeing in her sleep.

The Vet thinks its kidney problems, possibly renal failure, OR a very unlikely chance its diabetes insipidus.

Either way, part of the treatment is keeping water down, she's always had access to water, but she's got a bloody awful habit of tipping her water bowls up if they're not as full as she likes.

We've currently got a bloody heavy spaniel bowl as its the heaviest we could find, but she still manages to drag it (despite it being on a non slip mat too.. go figure)

Can anyone please suggest an untippable/undraggable bowl?

sorry meant to add, the issue is, if she tips the bowl while we're out or over night, it means she doesn't have access to water until we get up/home to refill it... so if we can find some way to keep a water bowl down and full.. and not tipped all over the floor, it'd be helpful!

What about leaving more than one bowl - placing them strategically around the house/room?

You can get a drinkwell fountain too but it needs to be plugged in (and I don't know if it's 'untippable')

Or one of the ones that's set up high on a little step thing? Sorry, bad description! But the bowl fits into a slot so can't be tipped?

raised one might be an idea.

We did have the ones set in a rubber mat, but she just sticks her paws in and tips them deliberately.

She makes a good try on the spaniel bowl too.. dragged it across the kitchen to the door and then tipped it up on the carpet when it wouldn't drag any further.

dog needs a bloomin pool with a waterfall fill Grin

We've got a bowl that screws onto crate, available online but also pets at home if needed urgently

Ditto the Road Refresher. Brilliant for dogs who like to tip the bowl over - worked for ours.
