That's not good. I just realised I sounded like I work for pets at home haha, just wanted to know as I think we've found a sewing needle in one of our puppy toys

Oh no! Lots of the toys I've had do fall apart (we have a small dog who doesn't put them through what other dogs might).

Yes some of them are very poor quality. I only buy the Kong toys or the Wainwright toys from there now.

I really like their puppy range, though. Not sure where to get puppy toys from if we don't go there anymore. Will certainly be going down there tomorrow and complaining

I only go in there in an emergency tbh. I find the toys are usually either poor quality and don't last, or (in the case of branded toys eg kongs) available cheaper elsewhere. One of the balls from their tough toys range had teeth marks in it from every time DDog gripped it - it was dead in an evening.

Re where to buy toys, I haven't had a puppy, but I usually buy my dog toys from Amazon, Zooplus, TK Maxx, PetPlanet etc. I also pick up children's soft toys from charity shops and remove any hard eyes or noses before DDog disembowels them.

Favourite brands include kong, outward hound, chuck it, Nina Ottosson and zippy paws (the latter being a US brand that sometimes shows up in TK Maxx).

Oh yes!
They have been awful.
My 12 week old puppy almost choked on a really sharp piece of plastic from a treat ball from there (own brand)
Yes I should have checked better but a quick check and it looked empty. The plastic was the same colour as the ball.
I phoned the store, went into the store, phones customer services, tweeted, commented on one of their Facebook threads.
They really didn’t care at all and I hardly got any response.
Eventually I was told the ball I returned had been destroyed by the store as I had said I didn’t want to take it any further (complete opposite of what I said) and that without the ball they couldn’t look into it further.

Customer service were rude and useless.
