Milo has hurt his toe!

His nails are too long and we are in a very slow process of cutting them, but anyway, at the moment they are too long. Which means that when Milo jumped down off our very high bed today he must have pushed his nail upwards. He yelps when he has to make certain movements although he can walk fine. He came to me and held his paw up for me to make it better and I wanted to sob. He growled and mouthed me when I hurt him trying to see what was wrong, and then licked me because he was sorry. I could see a little bleeding in the nail bed. I bathed it in lavender and warm water to soothe it. Possibly a vet's trip tomorrow if he's still in pain.
Poor little boy. He went to doggy day care yesterday for the first time and was so good that our carer says he can stay with her any time, even if we want to go on holiday, and she thinks he is adorable (despite his little glitches). Milo xxxxxxx
